On June 21st, 2020 Edna Mae LaMar proudly known as Mom, Mimmie, and Susie, peacefully passed over into God's hands. She was surrounded by her family the last days of her life, hearing of what we thought her legacy to be, and what she meant to us each individually. She gave of herself wholeheartedly and she loved unconditionally; she was truly the center of her family and as she liked to proudly proclaim "THE HEAD" She was so proud of the fact that on her 87th birthday she became the longest living family member of her Paternal family. Her presence in the lives of those who loved and admired her will be greatly missed. She is survived by her Daughters: Kim Lowe and Susan Knapp. Deceased sons; Kenneth LaMar Jr. and Michael LaMar. Her 5 Grandchildren; Tracey Mathias, Brian Mathias, Rodger Anderson, Jill Mathias Newgent,and Ronnie Knapp Jr. Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandson the 14 " APPLES" of her eyes; Alissa, Brooke, Sofia, Dominic, Kelsea, Brian, Solomon, Gemma, C.J., Michael, Maggie, Daenerys (Dani) Andrew and Braiden.
Visitation will be held at the locally-owned Loudon Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD (21229) on Friday from 10 am until 12 Noon. Funeral services will be begin 12 noon. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery. In accordance with local health department guidelines all visitors must wear a mask while in the funeral home and no more than 30 people can be in the visitation room at one time.
